2. Service Description

VoGro is a volunteer matching platform that connects seniors and caregivers in Palo Alto with local volunteers for everyday assistance including grocery shopping, prescription pickup, errands, and companionship visits. VoGro facilitates connections but does not employ volunteers or guarantee service availability.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user requesting help, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when submitting requests
• Treat volunteers with respect and courtesy
• Communicate clearly about your needs and expectations
• Reimburse volunteers for any out-of-pocket expenses (e.g., grocery costs) as agreed
• Report any concerns or issues promptly to VoGro

4. Volunteer Responsibilities

As a volunteer, you agree to:

• Complete the background check and orientation process
• Provide accurate personal information
• Fulfill commitments reliably and on time
• Treat all users with patience, respect, and dignity
• Follow VoGro's safety protocols and guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality about users' personal information

5. Not a Healthcare Provider

VoGro is not a healthcare provider, home health agency, or medical service. Our volunteers do not provide medical care, personal care, or clinical services. VoGro should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or emergency services. In case of a medical emergency, call 911.

6. Limitation of Liability

VoGro provides a matching platform and makes reasonable efforts to screen volunteers. However, VoGro is not liable for the actions or omissions of any volunteer or user. VoGro does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of volunteer services. Your use of VoGro is at your own discretion and risk.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

8. Termination

VoGro may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time if you violate these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using VoGro at any time.
